꩜ A spiraling, time traveling, sometimes monthly feelings letter ꩜

〰️〰️〰️
A Feelings Letter is a collection of essays by Bridget Badore. Part scrapbook, part digital zine, mostly diary. Often hyperbolic, usually mixing metaphors.
At its core, it is a practice of connecting through the form of a monthly(ish) newsletter sharing what I’m processing lately (emotionally & creatively).
✶⌇Bridget Badore is a photographer and teaching artist living in New York’s Hudson Valley. View her photography work and buy prints on her website. ⌇✶

If you like this kind of thing and want to support my silly tender messy little practice, you can become a paid subscriber. Art is weird and embarrassing and sharing is strange and so is money but community is magic! Thank you for being a part of mine.
If you’re interesting in consuming additional tenderness, here’s a playlist just for you:

A feelings letter started on mailchimp, then lived for a few years on substack, and is now hosted on beehiiv. It’s probably just an extension of my livejournal, myspace, or tumblr. One could argue that it actually started on my family computer in 2001 when I copied my older sister and made a website to host my bathroom selfies and gifs made in MS Paint.

revisit some favorite letters:
✷ October 2021: alternate realities, alternate timelines
✷ May 2021: maybe you need to cry
✷ March 2021: a reluctance toward spring
✷ November 2020: heartbreak in unfamiliar forms
✷ October 2020: personal ghost stories
✷ July 2020: on moving & feeling like you’re dreaming
